RESURRECTING THE FUTURE FROM THE PAST: Near the West Michigan lakeshore community of Zeeland, Michigan, an ambitious all-volunteer crew restored a 1953 GM Futurliner.The restoration project took seven years (1999-2006) and was directed by Don Mayton, retired GM Plant Manager, under the auspices of the NATM (National Auto & Truck Museum), located in Auburn, Indiana.
